Active Ingredients
ALEPPO
Created more than 4000 years ago in the city of Aleppo (Syria; ancient Mesopotamia), the famous Aleppo soap was introduced to Europe in the 12th century by the Crusaders. Since then, it has been produced unchanged from its natural, handcrafted manufacturing process.
Only natural ingredients are used in its manufacture: olive oil and laurel, sodium hydroxide and water. The virgin olive oil is heated in large cauldrons together with the soda and stirred very slowly. Finally, the laurel oil is added to obtain a beautiful green mixture which is washed with plenty of water to obtain a totally alkali-free product.
Its high olive oil content protects the skin from the dryness so characteristic of classic soaps, maintaining the natural lipid barrier and providing vitamins and minerals. Its regular use is particularly suitable for sensitive skin as it contains antiseptic, antioxidant and healing properties thanks to the laurel oil.
The authentic Aleppo Soap nourishes, regenerates and softens your skin, restoring its hydrolipidic layer.
Very suitable for skin damaged by various dermatological conditions, we can highlight:
- Acne
- Eczema
- Psoriasis
- Herpes
- Bacterial dermatitis
- Fungal infections
- Skin irritations
- Cradle cap
- Seborrhoeic dermatitis
Aleppo soap is considered one of the oldest soaps in the world. Made with virgin olive oil and pure laurel oil, it stands out for its soothing and antiseptic benefits, being tolerated by the most sensitive skins.
